1. Select Reports from the main menu.
2. Select Income Statement.
3. The income statement can be viewed in three different reports:
- Vakio (default)
- Budget comparison
- Monthly breakdown
4. Select the desired report from the Report type menu and the time period to be viewed from the Period menu. If the income statement says In progress, the accounting is not yet complete and the figures may change.
5. You can also view the results by dimension (cost center, project, etc.) if your company uses them. The results are updated automatically based on your selections.
Standard report
The standard report shows you the results for the selected period in real time, the percentage of turnover, and the cumulative actuals from the beginning of the financial year, as well as a comparison with the corresponding periods of the previous year.
Budget comparison
Budget comparison shows you the results for the selected period in real time, the percentage of turnover, and the cumulative actuals since the beginning of the financial year, as well as a comparison with the budget. Budget comparison also shows the forecast for the financial year. The forecast is formed by combining the actual result from the beginning of the financial period to the period you have selected and the budgeted figures from the end of the financial period.
Monthly breakdown
Monthly breakdown shows you the results for the reported months of the financial period.
Viewing voucher data
From the Expand all menu, you can open and close all item rows. You can drill down to the voucher level in the income statement by clicking the arrow in front of the items.
Open the details of an individual voucher by clicking the voucher number.
In addition to the voucher image, you can view the voucher postings.
Download report
The report view can be saved in PDF or Excel format. Open the desired item rows and then select Download report. The report will print the rows that you have open in the income statement view.
